Sept 30 SDA appointment today

We are waiting to leave for  our SDA appointment in just a few minutes  this is where we will find out what child they allow us to adopt,  we know which child we want and hold out faith for this to come true. Today is today and God's will, will be done, he has a plan. It is our job to walk in his plan even if it means taking some turns we do not expect. God open our hearts to what it is you would have  us  do !

GET OUT OF THE PEW AND INTO THE BATTER'S BOX

"The church is not pro life  it is anti abortion". This statement made by Derek Loux seems to ring true  more and  more.  The majority of Christians are against abortion, but are  doing  little to offer in the way of an alternative.  Lets face the facts we live in a day and age where not all children are wanted  by their parents, and not all pregnancies are welcome.  As a church we must provide not  just a willing body of protest against abortion, we must also provide the CURE for abortion.  That cure is adoption !!  When we protest outside abortion clinics how very often are we confronted  with the question "If I don't keep and care for my baby who will? "  How many  of you  are ready to raise your  hand and step forward?

As A body we must prepare and become ready to welcome these children into our homes our hearts. How many couples and singles in your  church are home study ready to adopt?.  We must begin to advocate and educate families within the church on the power of adoption. When a woman entering an abortion clinic  stops and asks a protester "who will care for  her child" Imagine if that  protester was willing and  able to step forward and say "I will"

We need people to carry and hold antiabortion signs at rallies and protests, but we also need the church standing next to them carrying signs that say "I can and will raise your child"

Please start identifying families and singles in your church that are willing to open their hearts and homes to the unwanted children of this  world and begin walking with them on a path to complete a home study for adoption or foster care.

Abortion is an epidemic,  Adoption is the cure  but it can't be  just a few  it needs to be the  church  James 1:27

You might not be a Christian if:

A wonderful quote by Kay Warren, wife of Rick Warren

bit.ly
"If we are doing little to nothing, how dare we, how dare we claim to be followers of Jesus Christ," she said Friday. "Followers of Jesus Christ care about widows and orphans and they understand that it is a litmus test.
